Farhad Aminzadeh

Farhad Aminzadeh

Farhad was born in New York but raised in Tehran. After college in Iran, he decided to move back to the states where he continued his education and got Masters degrees in Electrical Engineering and Systems Engineering. He is very social and enjoys spending time with friends and family along with a passion to organize different types of events. Farhad recently came to his senses and decided to flee the north east winters and moved to southern California.

Maximilian Bayer

Maximilian Bayer

Max was born in Tehran. He came to the United States after living in Austria for several years. He received his Bachelors Degree in Graphic Design from the University of California, San Diego. Since then Max has been the Lead Graphic Designer and Project Manager at Graphic Interfaces, manufacturing marketing materials for the Natural Product Industry. He recently received his MBA in Marketing from the University of Phoenix. Max loves to travel and enjoys running, reading, and playing his guitar.

Negin Demehry

Negin Demehry

Negin is an attorney in San Diego. A native of the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area, Negin received her B.S. with High Distinction in Decision Sciences and Management Information Systems from George Mason University in 2001, whereupon she worked as a Software Engineer. Thereafter, Negin received her Juris Doctorate in 2005 from the George Mason University School of Law and subsequently relocated to San Diego in 2006 to be close to her family.

Negin has always been very active in the Iranian community, from her participation in the GMU Persian Club to the Iranian American Bar Association (IABA). She founded the San Diego chapter of IABA in 2008 and thereafter served on both the San Diego and National Board of Directors for IABA. Negin has also served on the Board of Directors of the Young/New Lawyers Division of the San Diego County Bar Association (2007-08) and was honored in 2007 as one of San Diego's Promising Young Attorneys. Negin is fluent in Farsi and English and conversational in Spanish.

Lilly Ghahremani

Lilly was born and raised in Chicago. She stayed in the midwest to attend University of Michigan, where she got her BA in English before fleeing to the west coast and never looking back. She received her JD from UCLA School of Law, after which she founded Full Circle Literary, a prominent literary agency on the west coast. During one of her many trips to meet with NY publishers she attended a Shabeh Jomeh event and got excited to help establish one in San Diego, albeit much later (Persian Standard Time!). After many years in publishing, Lilly recently returned to school to earn her MBA in marketing from SDSU in '09. She is now the Chief Marketing Officer for Healthcare of Today, Inc., an international healthcare holding company based in California. When not chained to her desk Lilly travels, studies languages (she speaks French, Spanish, and Persian), and is currently mastering the art of the tango.

Neda Namaki Shoushtari

Neda Namaki Shoushtari

Neda Namaki Shoushtari was born and raised in San Diego, California. She graduated from University California San Diego in 2005, where she received a B.A. in Urban Studies and Planning. She then went on to receive a Masters of City Planning from San Diego State University. She is currently working at a local nonprofit that promotes responsible, cost-effective environmental laws and regulations, facilitates environmental compliance among member companies and increases environmental awareness for local biotech, pharmaceutical and manufacturing companies. Neda is also currently a part time student at Thomas Jefferson School of Law. Neda is an avid supporter of Breast Cancer research, she has participated in annual fundraising events for over 8 years. She is currently a Legislative Ambassador for the American Cancer Society. Neda is a huge fan of the arts. In her leisure time, she enjoys painting with acrylics and cooking for friends and relatives.
